The aim of the Battambang Municipality Climate Information System for Adaptation is to provide climate information to support planning and decision-making for adapting to climate change. The system has been developed with funding from the United Nations Climate Technology Centre and Network (UN-CTCN) and technical support from the International Center for Environmental Management (ICEM).

This platform has the following functions:

MAP VIEWER

Interactive geospatial tool to access information on hazards, climate change, and levels of impact and vulnerability for people and infrastructure.

MAP GALLERY

A repository of downloadable maps on hazards and climate change, impact and vulnerability, population, land use and key infrastructure in Battambang city.

ADAPTATION MEASURES

Catalogue of nature-based solutions for climate change adaptation and urban resilience, including downloadable technical information sheets per measure.
